I work directly within schools to support neurodiverse learners, as well as pupils who simply need a little extra support, particularly those who benefit from a more tactile and practical approach to learning. My approach is rooted in multisensory, practical, and hands-on methods designed to boost confidence and capture the imagination of children. I specialise in supporting students with Special Educational Needs through face-to-face sessions that make learning tangible, engaging, and achievable. I also provide support for pupils who may not have identified additional needs, but who would benefit from extra guidance, confidence-building, or a more personalised approach to learning.
I create personalised 10-week learning programmes tailored to each learner’s individual needs, focusing on strengthening areas of weakness while also building confidence, resilience, and a more positive self-image. My aim is not only to improve academic skills, but to help children feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress.
Maths & Timetables
Hands-on mathematical learning that turns abstract concepts into concrete understanding. We focus on mastering timetables and core numeracy through interactive, face-to-face methods.
Literacy & Reading
Phonics-based reading and spelling support that is active and enjoyable. By using physical materials and practical tasks, we build a solid foundation for lifelong literacy skills.
Time and Money
Time and money skills taught in a practical, engaging way that builds real-life confidence. Through hands-on activities, visual resources, and everyday problem-solving tasks, pupils develop a stronger understanding of concepts that many find difficult to grasp — including reading an analogue clock, a skill that is becoming less familiar in today’s digital and phone-focused world.
